For those of your who saw our last post and have tried (& loved) our Keto/Vegan BBQ Sauce, you are going to love this quick & easy Flatbread recipe! With only a few wholesome ingredients, this is the perfect healthy comfort food on a spring day!
The first thing that you are going to need to make the flatbread a success is perfectly roasted cauliflower. The way that I have always done pretty much all roasted veggies has never failed me and it is SUPER easy. Simply chop up your cauliflower into florets, rinse, shake dry, and spread evenly onto a lined or lightly oiled baking sheet. Sprinkle with a few tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil, and a hearty pinch of both sea salt and ground black pepper. Bake at 350F for 30 minutes. If you like your roasted veggies more crispy, crank the temperature up to 400 for the same amount of time.
Okay, now let's get to the good stuff! This zesty BBQ Cauliflower pizza will remind of you of a BBQ Chicken but WAY more flavourful. The homemade BBQ sauce really does make a difference - and you can adapt it so it fits your tastebuds. I am a spice fanatic, so I always love to make my BBQ sauce sweet & spicy, and then add a few pinches of red pepper flakes to give it that extra zing. This recipe is
Sweet
Spicy
Zesty
Flavourful
Mouth-watering
Kid-friendly (if you reduce the spice in your BBQ sauce)
Delicious
If you aren't keto or low-carb, you can always use this same recipe but substitute in your favourite pizza dough. We love the keto flatbreads that we have developed because they are filling, have great flavour and are only 4g of NET carbs for the whole darn thing! Looking for a step by step video?
