Our Story
Thornbury Bakery was built on the belief that everyone should be able to enjoy good food. When we first got into the bakery business in 2008, we quickly learned that bread options for people with celiac disease or with gluten sensitivities were very limited. There were gluten-free breads available, but most lacked flavour and texture and were pumped full of artificial ingredients and flavours.
This realization inspired us to develop our own bread recipe – one that was made of whole food ingredients and tasted like real bread. In 2015 we launched our Original Chia bread and today we are proud to offer 20+ different products, ranging from a keto bread to sourdough everything bagels – all of which are gluten-free, vegan, preservative-free, and non-GMO.

We are family owned and operated and we ship freshly baked bread every week to customers all over Canada.
Our Products
Our original Chia Products are gluten-free, dairy-free, egg-free, vegan, non-GMO and delicious! They are delivered fresh several times a week to retailers across Ontario.

Our Keto Bread line is also gluten-free, dairy-free, egg-free, vegan, non-GMO and grain-free. This product line is meant for those trying to avoid grains, sugar, carbs, or anything refined.
